Active Person with Varicose Veins in Left Leg Treated with Endovenous Laser Ablation with Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy
This 37-year-old female patient presents with varicose veins in the left leg. She is extremely active, exercising 3 times per week and in the gym twice per week. Her results show complete resolution of her varicose veins at 18-months post-treatment. She underwent Endovenous Laser Ablation with Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy. She reports that she no longer experiences fatigue and tiredness in the left leg after extended periods of walking or exercise.

This case illustrates the effectiveness and longevity of Endovenous Laser Ablation and Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy. This 24-year-old female patient presented to our practice with lower leg varicose veins. The cause was isolated to an incompetent great saphenous vein (GSV), as is the case in over 80% of patients who present with large varicose veins. Following Endovenous Laser Ablation of the GSV and Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy of the visible varicose. The after photo was taken 4 years after her treatment.
Post-Pregnancy Varicose Veins on Posterior Thigh Treated With Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy
This 42-year-old woman presented with typical post-pregnancy related varicose veins in the posterior thighs. Duplex ultrasound isolated the origin of these veins to the vulval/pelvic region. She underwent Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy of the vulval veins and visible thigh veins. Her results shown are at 12-months post treatment.
